A. 120-Hour TESOL Certificate Program For Teaching Adults

 

Program Overview

This intensive introductory certificate program is designed for individuals who have little teaching experience and at least an intermediate level of English proficiency and who are interested in teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Our comprehensive curriculum covers the following areas:

  • Teaching methodology in speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Language development and acquisition
  • Fundamentals of English grammar
  • Linguistics for teachers
  • Innovative approaches to teaching
  • Emphasis on Practical Uses

Participants will learn how to:

  • Apply best practices in language development and learning theory to promote English proficiency
  • Teach English skillfully, employing a variety of principle based methods
  • Create lessons that support active learning
  • Demonstrate understanding of the structure of English
  • Become a member of the TESOL profession

This well-balanced program enables participants to gain an understanding of the theoretical background in TESOL and its practical application

 

B. TESOL -120 Hr Teacher Training Program for Teachers of Young Learners

 

Course Duration

A 5 day, intensive TESOL Teacher Training Program with a focus on teachers of young learners.

Participants in the course will experience:

  • A focus on Pre-K to 6th Grade (ages 2–12).
  • Intern at local elementary schools for practical application of the content studied. .
  • Pre- and post- assignments to assess improvement and knowledge learned during the program.
